November 2007 Newsletter

The first week of this month is our first Observation Week of the year. (We will have another one the first week of February 2008.) We are sure you will enjoy seeing the progress your child has made. It is a very exciting for all of us—students, teachers, and parents!

The staff of Wheaton Studio of Dance would like to wish and your family a very happy Thanksgiving. We will be counting our blessings also! We’d like to remind you that the studio will be closed Thursday, November 22, 2007, and Friday, November 23, 2007. We will reopen for classes on Saturday, November 24, 2007.

For those of you planning ahead, the remaining three holidays that we are closed are:

1. Winter Break…Monday, December 24, 2007, through Tuesday, January 1, 2008. Studio reopens Wednesday, January 2, 2008.
2. Spring Break…Friday, March 21, 2008, through Saturday, March 29, 2008. Studio reopens Monday, March 31, 2008.
3. Memorial Day…Saturday, May 24, 2008 and Monday, May 26, 2008 only. Studio reopens Tuesday, May 27, 2008.

Don’t forget that we follow the Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) closings for inclement weather ONLY (snow, ice, etc.) If in doubt, you may always call our studio (301-949-5111).

If you are looking for a great gift for the holidays for your dancer, we have Wheaton Studio of Dance bags for $15, or personalized for $18! (Prepaid orders only.)

**New Class Forming…Beginner 3-5 yrs. Old Combination Class on Thursdays 4-5 pm with Ms. Amanda.**

Informal Recital…June 2008! All classes will be performing. The following classes will need to purchase COSTUME TRIM ($30 due 12/15):
