We are still accepting registrations for our fabulous summer dance camp for girls (ages 8 to 17) at Mount St. Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, MD. The camp is from Sun., 7/13 through Sat., 7/19. Come and join us for an awesome week! The cost is $630 ($300 was due 3/1, $165 was due 4/1, and the final payment of $165 is due 5/1). If you haven’t registered yet, the cost is $650. Your daughter will have an awesome time!
We will be distributing our 2008-2009 Schedules during classes in May.
Important Dates:
The costume trim will be distributed during your child’s classes soon.
Check out our website. We have new photos and would enjoy any you might want to share. E-mail them to our webmaster, Ms. Amy. We’d love to see them!
Don’t you like our new carpeting in the lobbies? Please remember our “No eating, drinking, or chewing gum allowed” policy.
Our two competition groups, Ms. Nathalie’s Mon. 8 Hip Hop class and Ms. Laura’s Lyrical group competed in the “Showbiz” competition on Sat., 3/8 @Freedom High School in Woodbridge, VA, and received 2nd Place in their categories and Top Ten Finalists overall. They will also be competing the weekend of 4/19 and 4/20 in the American Dance Awards (ADA) competition in Columbia. We will be receiving information pertaining to the particular competitions and will pass it along to the dancers and their parents as soon as we get it. If you are available, please come and root them on. You’ll be amazed and they will appreciate your support. This month’s competition is close by and it’s a great experience for your younger dancers to see the level of the older girls and what they can aspire to do. They look great in their new WSD warm-ups too! Let’s show the Wheaton Studio of Dance pride. Good luck girls!
Thank you for your continued support. It is our privilege and pleasure to teach your children and hopefully, to instill the love of dance we share.
Happy Dancing!
